Octavo (216 × 130 mm), [10] pages and [22] (last blank) pages with a small circular illustration by Robin Wallace-Crabbe in each title (one printed in red, the other in blue).
A French-fold binding, with flush-cut plain contrasting wrappers (one light purple, the other black); tiny surface blemish to the bottom margin of one page (a production flaw); a very fine copy with the slipcase (with matching contrasting sides, and a paper title-label on the spine).
The poem by Kate Llewellyn was first published in 1999. Number 22 of 30 copies designed, type-set, printed and initialled by R.E. Summers. The twenty-eighth book from the Escutcheon Press (a corrigendum slip to this effect is tipped in on the colophon of the first title, where it is named the twenty-seventh book).
