The upper portion of a document (110 × 225 mm), dated 6 February 1745; some browning, with a few small holes slightly affecting Lyttelton's signature; traces of prior mounting on the verso (which contains further printed text, manuscript insertions and another signature); in good condition.
The original document appears to have been a Treasury Bond issued for £50. Offered with an early engraved portrait of Fox as Secretary of State (145 × 115 mm). Provenance: Collection of The Hon Barry Jones AC.
