Sydney, privately printed for the Author by The Beacon Press, 1932.
Large octavo, 28 pages (first two and last one blank) with 17 illustrations and an original bookplate tipped in as the frontispiece.
Overlapping gilt-decorated textured card covers slightly bumped, rubbed and creased at the extremities; dedication page slightly marked; an excellent copy.
Number 41 of only 150 signed copies. Curiously, the mounted bookplate, designed by Eric Thake for the author, is non-armorial. Provenance: Edward Edgar Pescott (1872-1954), horticulturalist, naturalist, author and book-collector, with his surname signature in pencil on the title page.
