The Australian Aboriginal's Interest in Art and his Rock Drawings. [Contained in] The Art Student. An Illustrated Magazine for Students & Lovers of Art. Volume 1, Number 2, 1 April 1932

Melbourne, The Art Student (Managing Editor, C. Leyshon White), 1932.

Large quarto, [3] pages with 3 illustrations (in 40 pages).

Two-colour pictorial wrappers a little chipped; front cover a little stained, rear one a little marked; a decent copy (internally excellent).

There are only two institutional holdings of this title in Trove (both in Brisbane); it ceased publication with Volume 1, Number 4, June 1932. We suspect this intriguing article by the man who later 'taught Albert [Namatjira] basic water-colour painting' ('Australian Dictionary of Biography') has gone under many radars.
