A circular identification chart (190 mm in circumference), comprising three pieces of circular coloured card joined together with a metal eyelet in the centre, with several small indicator holes cut out from the front and rear cards; a length of thick string knotted in a loop is threaded through the eyelet (presumably as issued).
Minimal signs of light use or wear; in excellent condition.
A British-made aeroplane identification chart; as either of the two smaller circular cards is turned, the indicator holes reveal a small line illustration of the selected aircraft, its type, power unit, number of engines, number of crew, rate of climb, service ceiling, armament, maximum speed and cruising speed.
