Cord-bound overlapping wrappers with deep leading edge flaps and a two-colour paper title-label mounted on the front cover; wrappers slightly chipped, marked and bumped, with a closed tear to the front flap; scattered light foxing (affecting a few of the bookplates where they are tipped in); a very good copy.

Number 183 of 250 copies. The ten original bookplates are by J.C. Goodchild, P. Roach Pierson, Adrian Feint, Ethleen Palmer, George Perrottet, F. Millward Gray, L. Roy Davies, Helen Ogilvie, Douglas Pratt and Eirene Mort.
