Large quarto,  pages (pages 36, 37 and 87) with 3 two-colour illustrations (by Gould).
Colour pictorial wrappers a little creased, with the front hinge a little split; most of the plain paper on the spine is missing, as is a small triangular piece on the rear cover near the foot of the spine; a very good copy (internally fine) with a contemporary ownership signature (possibly R. Hope Johnstone) on the front cover.
