Light blue cloth lettered in gilt on the spine; cloth lightly marked and rubbed, with the spine lightly sunned; top edge a little lightly foxed; a few trifling fingermarks to the margins of a handful of pages; an excellent copy with the unclipped dustwrapper a little creased, marked, torn, and chipped, with minor loss to the foot of the spine and adjacent sections of the front and rear panels.
The small paper label of the contemporary Adelaide booksellers John McGrath Limited, 224-225 North Terrace, Adelaide (less than 100 metres from our current retail premises) is mounted at the foot of the front pastedown.
