Oblong octavo (143 × 230 mm), comprising an introductory leaf, a leaf of descriptive captions, and 15 leaves of plates (all printed rectos only) containing a total of 79 images.
Flush-cut quarter cloth and decorated card covers printed in gold and light and dark blue; covers lightly marked, with a few small light pink stains to the front cover; notwithstanding, an excellent copy.
All plate leaves depict one or more illustrations from photographs, against a watercolour pictorial background with calligraphic titles. There is only one full-page plate proper. Not in Trove, but recorded there are what appear to be later versions of a similar item, 'Gall's Glimpses of Adelaide and South Australia: 80 Viewlets' (circa 1902), and 'Gall's Glimpses of Adelaide and South Australia: 100 Viewlets' (circa 1904).
