Two-colour pictorial wrappers with an advertisement on the outside rear one; front cover a little marked, with a large uneven patch of discolouration caused by acidic newspaper cuttings (still present, but now in a Mylar pocket); the title page is also a little unevenly tanned by the cuttings; for the rest, the booklet is in excellent condition. The contemporary cuttings relate to Conan Doyle and his strong interest in spiritualism (well, some people think it's odd to be passionate about cricket!).
