The Hundred of Kappakoola [sic], derived from Kappakoola Hill, near Wudinna on the Eyre Peninsula, is the best we can do to give this item some context. The horse features at South Australian country races in a few issues of the 'Sporting News' in 1913 and 1914 (information courtesy of Trove); apparently, she photographed better than she raced.
