The 72 gelatin silver photographs (255 × 205 mm or the reverse) are loosely inserted on both sides of album leaves (in diagonal slits in the corners designed for the purpose). Studio stamps and manuscript captions on the versos suggest that there is a connection with the contents of the album and a contemporary Sydney advertising agency. One example should suffice: an image inscribed in ink on the verso 'Olga Petrova in her second Paramount masterplay "Exile" showing tomorrow and all next week at Hoyts' is reproduced with a similar caption on page 24 of the Sydney 'Sunday Times', 10 March 1918. Apart from a few corner creases or chips, the contents are in fine condition, housed in a contemporary scrap album (a little worn, with the spine later renewed with tape).
