The first volume, by Marcie Muir, is an extensively revised edition of the author's pioneering two-volume bibliography (1970 and 1976), incorporating new material previously unidentified, including 2,000 new titles and authors and newly discovered editions of previously recorded works. The second volume, by Kerry White, is arranged alphabetically by author, with individual titles entered chronologically; variant editions and translations follow in order. Cross-references are given for pseudonyms, and where an author's books are included in a series entry. Title and illustrator indexes are included. A milestone in Australian publishing, this major bibliography remains an essential reference work.
