Victorian Parliamentary Paper 85 of 1880-81; one of only 885 copies printed. The report contains 171 detailed questions and answers from five witnesses. Some 67 individuals shared £8000, ranging from Superintendent Hare with £800, to Mr Osborne with £25. Seven native trackers (Hero, Johnny, Jimmy, Jacky, Barny, Moses, and Spider) each received £50.
