Gilt-decorated cream buckram, top edges gilt, others uncut (these a little foxed); covers lightly marked and sunned; light surface erasure to both front flyleaves; one ribbon bookmark a little frayed; an excellent set.
Number 83 of the Edition de Luxe limited to only 100 sets on handmade paper, signed by Stuart Mason. Each volume contains a copy of the original four-page prospectus (both folded and a little foxed, with one slightly chipped). Stuart Mason was the pseudonym of Christopher Sclater Millard (1872-1927), not least a fellow antiquarian bookseller.
