Psychiatric Aspects of Organ Transplantation

New York, Grune & Stratton, 1971 [first edition in book form].

Quarto, [vi], 172 pages.

Cloth very slightly rubbed at the extremities; an excellent copy.

The book is essentially a bound reprint of the February 1971 issue (Volume 3, Number 1) of 'Seminars in Psychiatry'. The introduction notes that 'To date no publication has attempted to gather in one issue the current thinking about psychiatric aspects of organ transplantation; this volume represents the first such effort'. This copy carries the ownership details (surname) of one of the contributors, Professor William Cramond. His article, 'Renal Transplantations - Experiences with Recipients and Donors' (pages 120-28), is based on his experiences with South Australian patients.
