The card, with the printed header 'From Henry Moore, Hoglands ...', is a friendly reply to a request to visit his studio. 'I am afraid now that by the time you get this letter it will be too late for you to come to see my studio. For although you may get this by Saturday night I have some very important work to do on Sunday morning, the time you suggest coming ...'. The message extends over both sides of the card, with the signature large and clear. The card is in fine condition; the envelope is in very good condition, albeit repaired with clear tape where torn open near the top. [2 items].
