Tales from Chaucer. The Canterbury Tales done into prose by Eleanor Farjeon
London, Medici Society, 1933 [second impression]/ 1930.
Octavo, xii, 246 pages plus 12 colour plates by W. Russell Flint.
Cloth; rear endpaper slightly offset; an excellent copy with the lightly used dustwrapper. The first-edition dustwrapper appears to have had a colour plate mounted on the front panel; this example was clearly issued without one.
Provenance: Shirley [Cameron] Wilson, Adelaide art historian, with her Walford House School prize plate on the front pastedown; the book was awarded for 'Continued Effort' in form VIB in 1935.
