Early full calf later rebacked in a period style, with a contrasting leather title-label; corners a little bumped and worn, with a few scrapes to the front cover; endpapers marked, chipped and stained around the edges by the leather, with a small piece torn from the head of the front flyleaf; small tidemark to the blank bottom corner of the last dozen leaves; trifling signs of use and age; a very good copy.

With summaries of hundreds of cases heard during the reign of Edward III (1327 to 1377), selected from the Yearbooks and arranged chronologically. The cases range from criminal matters to property disputes. The text, in Law French, is set in blackletter, with names, section titles and Latin quotations in Roman type. There are frequent early marginal annotations in ink, usually citing other related cases. STC 9602.
