'Considerable evidence exists that many glass objects bearing the Galle signature were crafted by Désiré Christian'. Désiré Jean-Baptiste Christian (1846-1907) 'was a French master glassmaker [who] notably worked with Charles and Émile Gallé at the Meisenthal glassworks' (Wikipedia).
