This issue contains two other articles by R.H. MATHEWS: Notes on Some Aboriginal Tribes [in particular, the Aranda and the Chingalee] (pages 67-87 with 9 tables); and Aboriginal Navigation and Other Notes (pages 211-215). At the foot of page 87, there are corrigenda for his articles in Volume 32 and Volume 39 of the Journal and Proceedings. There are numerous other worthy contributions to this volume, but one by Lawrence Hargrave catches the eye and the imagination: 'The One-Wheeled Car' (7 pages with 3 full-page illustrations).
