Red cloth lettered and ruled in black; covers slightly mottled, a little faded on the spine, and lightly rubbed and bumped at the extremities; a few leaves with unobtrusive corner creases; endpapers unevenly discoloured and lightly tanned; four consecutive leaves at the rear unevenly guillotined along the top edge (one slightly chipped); a very good copy.

First published in the United States in 1919 under the title 'Their Mutual Child'.
