Cloth slightly flecked and rubbed at the extremities; ownership details on the front pastedown; endpapers a little foxed, with trifling loss to the rear pastedown; sealed tear to one leaf; minimal signs of age and use; a very good copy.
'A popular and scientific account of that part of Central Australia enclosed within an oblong bestriding the boundary of South and Western Australia, and measuring about 350 miles north and south by 250 miles east and west. Written with first-hand knowledge and understanding, both gained during a ten months' exploration of the region'; the map is compiled 'from existing maps of the early Explorers, of Official Surveys, and of Chewings, Madigan, Terry and Mackay, by H.H. Finlayson with additional data along the Author's Travelling Routes, 1931-1935'.
