External dimensions 108 × 84 mm; with the discreet date-stamp (1980) on the reverse (showing through slightly, and impacting a little on the signature pencilled in the bottom margin); in excellent condition. The Frederikshavn-Kunstmuseum has a collection of 30 bookplates designed for Vilms, dated between 1961 and 1981, illustrated online (and where this example is undated and unsigned). Provenance: H.B.
