QUICK, Mary and Ernest

Three wood-engraved bookplates by Mary and Ernest Quick

The small bookplates, in fine condition, are for E.J. Brown (Peake 678), T.C. Sloane (Peake 4880), and an oval one for (possibly) E.D.L. (not in Peake). Pencilled attribution to Mary Quick on the verso of one plate, and to E. and M. Quick on the other two (Ernest and Mary Quick, who established the Juniper Press at Burradoo).

Provenance: H.B. (Harry) Muir (1909-1992), bookseller, publisher and bookplate collector; by descent. [3 items].
