Card covers a little creased; an excellent copy with the dustwrapper slightly scored and creased, with one tiny chip at the head of the front panel.

With two ink marks by the author on the half title. 'Geraldine Halls, her mark, 9/3/95' has been added in another hand. Halls was evidently very unwell at the time, and died in October 1996.
