An original hand-coloured lithograph, matted, framed and glazed (visible image size 300 × 390 mm, external dimensions 570 × 650 mm).

The plate is in excellent condition; the timber frame has lost some of its veneer, and needs to be discarded or replaced.

Plate 16 from 'South Australia Illustrated'; the lithographer is James William Giles. The view shows Rosetta Head, commonly known as The Bluff, near the present town of Victor Harbor. It was named after the artist's mother, Rosetta Angas (née French).
