An original gelatin silver photograph (visible image size 395 × 540 mm), mounted, with a captioned mat, and behind glass with gilt fillets in a vintage carved wooden frame (external dimensions 645 × 800 mm, with a metal title-label screwed to the front of the top edge).
The photograph is a little silvered-out and lightly foxed; the mount has slight surface loss to silverfish and a few tiny marks; gilt fillets a little chipped; the frame is a little rubbed; overall, an impressive presentation.
The members of the club are posed in a studio setting behind two bicycles (lying down with front wheels crossed, the club flag draped over them). All 31 of those featured in the photograph are identified: not least are J. Michie MB (Honorary Surgeon), and Rev. J. Sunter BA (Vice-President). The Fauser family are well-represented: there's J. Fauser (Vice-Captain), U. Fauser, and his wife, Mrs U. Fauser. She is front and centre behind the bikes, along with Miss E.A. Manners, resplendent in their smart leather riding gloves.
