Original half morocco (lettered and ruled in gilt on the spine) and replacement plain brown cloth (the original cloth is prone to heavy mottling); original gilt-patterned endpapers; leather a little sunned on the spine and lightly rubbed at the extremities; small light stain to five consecutive pages; expert conservation to a handful of short edge tears and a few spots of surface loss to adhesion; trifling signs of use and age; essentially an excellent copy.
