'These sensitive studies are neither tourist poses nor anthropological records' (dustwrapper blurb). The title page is inscribed and signed 'To Olga Hardy with much regards from the Author, Charles P. Mountford'. We know of Olga Hardy only as the author of 'Like a Bird on the Wing. The Story of Luise Homann' (1984). However, we have discovered an online reference to an interview by Keith Travers Borrow in 2011 'with Olga Hardy regarding her association as an artist with C.P. Mountford's books on aboriginal culture' (at Flinders University).
