Contemporary full morocco decorated in gilt with motifs of Tudor royalty; inner gilt dentelles; all edges gilt; leather a little marked and rubbed at the extremities, with the ; spine a little sunned; front inner hinge neatly reinforced; title leaf a little foxed, with a few small light tidemarks to the edges; minimal signs of age and use; a very good copy.

Provenance: South Australian ornithologist and conservationist Captain Samuel Albert White (1870-1954), with his ink ownership signature ('"Wetunga" 1898').
