Red cloth, top edges dyed red (as issued); foot of the spine and sides of the covers of the first two volumes a little waterstained (the first volume more so); top edges a little spotted, other edges slightly marked; flyleaves lightly offset; overall a very good set (internally excellent) with the price-clipped dustwrappers unevenly sunned, marked, and a little worn with minor loss, with some stains to the foot of the spine and rear panel of the first volume.
