Cloth lightly marked; flyleaves offset; verso of front flyleaf and the half-title discoloured by a newspaper clipping (see below); an excellent copy (no dustwrapper was issued).

'Printed for private distribution' and decidedly scarce on the open market. The introduction commences thus: 'I have compiled this book simply for members of the Bonython family. It is deliberately written in an entirely unorthodox style, but one that I hope will hold the reader's interest'. Loosely inserted is a newspaper cutting from 'The Advertiser' (7 May 1971) reporting on a ceremony at the Bonython family vault at West Terrace Cemetery, Adelaide, after the author's death 'last week' at the age of 60.
