A previous copy we have handled had a bookseller's pencilled note on the flyleaf stating 'Only 75 copies printed'. The purchaser on that occasion recalled being told that the book had to be pre-ordered before publication: we know from long and painful experience how hard it is to sell books that are already on the shelves, let alone pies in the sky! We can also confirm that copies of the original printing of this work are definitely rare. Not in Dornbusch; Fielding and O'Neill, page 235; Trigellis-Smith 345.
