Pictorial cloth (with the design featuring an Aboriginal warrior and a kangaroo); covers very slightly rubbed; head and foot of the spine a little snagged; rear cover slightly scuffed and flecked; folding map slightly foxed (at the extremities and a few folds); a few mild marks; a very good copy.
South Australia (52 pages, including several on the Gawler Ostrich Farm), Victoria and New South Wales (including the Blue Mountains, 16 pages) were visited. With the pictorial bookplate ['Gang forward'] (a little foxed and slightly torn) of Edward Charles Stirling on the front pastedown.
