Oblong quarto (200 × 255 mm),  pages (alternate openings blank) with a pictorial title page, 12 full-page illustrations (facing 12 separate poems) and 6 smaller illustrations (5 of them on pages with the poems, plus a tailpiece).
Overlapping light brown textured wrappers, bound with brown ribbon, with the title printed in dark brown on the front panel; covers lightly marked, with a few tiny splits to the edges; slight loss to the ends of the spine; title page and last page uniformly discoloured (from contact with the covers); minimal signs of use and age; an excellent copy of a rare book.
Twelve verses by Annie Isobel Rentoul, with illustrations by her daughter Ida Sherbourne Rentoul (later Outhwaite). Ida Rentoul Outhwaite's second book (after 'Mollie's Bunyip', 1904). Muir 6333.
