Full morocco lettered in gilt on the spine and front cover, all edges gilt; covers slightly bowed and rubbed; slight marginal adhesion damage to one opening (pages 36-7); overall an excellent copy.

The fifth of seven substantial quarto volumes in this rare and important series, published in Sydney between 1910 and 1931. The first four volumes were published by 'The Pastoralist's Review' between 1910 and 1914; the three volumes of the New Series were published by 'The Pastoral Review' between 1929 and 1931. This volume contains details and illustrations of 45 pastoral properties (each given 12 pages): 39 are in New South Wales, with three each from Victoria and South Australia.

Provenance: the Brooks family of Buckland Park, one of the South Australian properties featured (see pages 325-336). The other SA properties are Anlaby (Henry Dutton), and Koomooloo, Sturt Vale and Wahroonga (I.J. Warnes).
