This facsimile edition was limited to 1000 sets; loosely inserted is a circular from the publisher, explaining the late delivery of the set. Provenance: T.G.H. Strehlow, with his signature, address in suburban Adelaide and date (13 June and 20 September 1978 respectively) in each volume. Theodor George Henry (Ted) Strehlow (1908-1978) was an eminent linguist, with a strong connection to the languages and people of Central Australia (he was born at Hermannsburg).
