Gilt-decorated flush-cut limp cloth a little discoloured on the spine and slightly mottled; edges foxed; trifling signs of use and age; a very good copy.

The front flyleaf is signed 'Mr Hill, City Rifles' (possibly the Adelaide City Rifles). Pages 5 and 6 ('Extract from the Circular Memorandum dated "Horse Guards, 1st May, 1860"') is certainly new to this edition.
