An original postcard-format gelatin silver photograph (87 × 139 mm), with a light crease to one corner, and minimal surface loss along the top edge; in very good condition.

'Premiers 1910' is written on the football, and an 'FFC' banner is visible in the background; the team is identified in ballpoint pen on the verso. The Freeling Football Club competed in the Barossa Light & Gawler Football Association, inaugurated in 1908.
