Contemporary quarter morocco and marbled boards a little rubbed at the extremities; foot of the front joint bumped (affecting the first few leaves of the text block); a few light marks internally; some foxing to the edges and a handful of leaves; a very good copy.
Number 915 of 2000 copies of this lavish collaborative sample book, featuring illustrations and representative pages from 25 French fine press publishers (27 are listed as collaborators, but two did not supply their material in time). The introduction by Louis Barthou indicates that it was inspired by the 1925 Exposition internationale des arts décoratifs et industriels modernes.
