Arnott's Famous Biscuits [cover title]

Large octavo, [iv], 40, [4] pages (including the covers) with 40 pages of colour illustrations of biscuits: 6 pages are of assorted biscuits (boxes and contents), all 34 other pages contain life-size illustrations of individual biscuits (in four instances, packaging is included). The preliminaries are the colour-pictorial front cover; 'With Compliments ...'; a page of black and white illustrations; and the index. The last four pages are a full-page colour advertisement for Arnott's biscuits (featuring the iconic parrot logo); a two-colour advertisement for 'oven-fresh' packaging; the list of contact addresses (from headquarters to export agents); and the blank outside rear wrapper.

Colour-pictorial wrappers slightly marked, with minimal nibbling to some edges, and contemporary ownership details on the front cover ('J.M. Foote c/o D & J Fowler Ltd, Pt Lincoln'; trifling signs of age and use; a very good contents (with the colour-pictorial contents in excellent condition).

A visual treat, and surprisingly rare, apparently: we can find no copies in Trove.
