In fine bindings of half green levant morocco and marbled boards by Rivière & Son for Henry Sotheran Ltd., retaining the original wrappers (with the spines mounted on guards at the rear); spines lettered in gilt; top edges gilt, others uncut; trifling signs of use and age; essentially a fine set.
Number 781 of a total edition of 1975 sets, this being one of 1850 on 'vélin de Rives' paper (numbered 126-1975). The 87th and 88th volumes in the Maitres du Livre series. [2 items].
