Songs of Innocence. [Together with] Songs of Experience
London, Ernest Benn, 1926 and 1927 (first thus)/ 1789 and 1794 (first editions).
Quarto, two volumes, [25] and [27] leaves (rectos only) of colour facsimiles (plus the colophon in each volume).
Gilt-decorated black cloth a little flecked, with slight loss to silverfish to the edges of the first volume; bottom corners of the first volume slightly bumped with associated creasing to a few corner tips; a presentable set.
The colophon in each instance merely states that this 'edition ... is reproduced from a copy in the British Museum', without elaboration. [2 items].
