Schindler (1887-1953), recognized 'as a major figure for his contributions to modernism and to the history of architecture in Los Angeles'. It contains essays by Michael Darling, Kurt G.F. Helfrich, Elizabeth A.T. Smith, Robert Sweeney, and Richard Guy Wilson.
