Black cloth with the stylised title in white on the front cover; cloth rubbed at the corners, with two small abrasions near the head of the front joint; top edge lightly stained, bleeding slightly into a few top margins; small ownership monogram on the half-title; light pencil annotations to pages 101-105, and a six-line inscription in ink at the foot of the last page; a very good copy.

The original edition was limited to 500 copies.
