Gilt-decorated green cloth; all edges gilt; covers slightly scuffed, marked and rubbed; inner hinges very slightly marked; very slight foxing to initial leaves; an excellent copy.
With the large armorial bookplate of notable New Zealand author, historian, collector and photographer Hardwicke Knight. Also with the original ownership stamp of David Ker Blair (1868-1944), surveyor to Lloyd's Register, Wellington, New Zealand, and the inscription (dated 21 June 1933), signed by one Odin Henry Moller, indicating that he received this copy from Blair. Loosely inserted is the 16-page Supplement to the 1932 edition, also with Blair's stamp and Moller's signature (a little lightly foxed and creased, and with two light folds, throughout).
