The volumes present include three complete series, namely The Barsetshire Chronicles (The Warden, Barchester Towers, Doctor Thorne, Framley Parsonage, The Small House at Allington, and Last Chronicle of Barset); The Irish Novels (The Macdermots of Ballycloran, The Kellys and the O'Kellys, Castle Richmond, An Eye for an Eye, and The Landleaguers); and The Palliser Novels (Can You Forgive Her?, Phineas Finn, The Eustace Diamonds, Phineus Redux, The Prime Minister, and The Duke's Children); the other titles are An Autobiography; Ayala's Angel; Brown, Jones and Robinson; Cousin Henry; Doctor Wortle's School; He Knew He Was Right; Kept in the Dark; Marion Fay; Orley Farm; Ralph the Heir; Sir Harry Hotspur of Humblethwaite; The American Senator; The Belton Estate; The Bertrams; The Claverings; The Fixed Period; The Vicar of Bullhampton; and The Way We Live Now. All volumes are octavo, bound in uniform (but not identical) quarter gilt-decorated cloth and decorated papered boards, and complete with individual slipcases, as issued. Some slipcases are a trifle rubbed; but apart from the few minor blemishes listed hereafter, the collection is in excellent condition: 'Castle Richmond', 'An Autobiography', 'The Duke's Children', and 'Ayala's Angel' are slightly marked; and there are some marks to the slipcases for 'Castle Richmond', 'An Autobiography', and 'The Kellys and the O'Kellys'.
