Large octavo, four volumes, decorated cloth; top edge of one volume very lightly marked, with a trifling crease to the top margin on a few leaves; essentially a fine set in the fine gilt-decorated slipcase.

The individual titles of the volumes are Armadale; The Moonstone; No Name; and The Woman in White. All volumes are illustrated by Alexy Pendle; each volume carries an introduction by a well-known mystery writer, respectively Tim Heald, P.D. James, Kenneth Robinson, and Ruth Rendell. [4 items].
