'First appearing nearly thirty years ago the original work has been corrected and augmented with a new introduction and many illustrations drawn especially for this limited edition' (dustwrapper blurb). This is number 17 of only 77 copies in full cloth, signed by the author, of a total edition of 788 (the balance of the edition comprises 11 signed copies in quarter morocco, and 700 unsigned copies in limp boards).
